Great tips! This was reassuring! It took me awhile to figure out the niche of my business so I could steer the course. That past two years I have been the most consistent I have ever been. There has been a lot of growth and development. I am not profitable yet, but I feel I am building the foundation so I can.
That’s great, Jennifer. Consistency is key – clients and prospects want to see that.
So true. Great companies are far from built overnight or without effort. I’ve been in business for 5 years now, and I am definitely in the realm of just staying the course because I care! It’s not easy sailing, but I know with my steady momentum and progress, I’ll get where I aim to go which is beyond breaking the minimum. The big thing is enjoying the journey now and having fun in what I do.
And your prospects and clients will respond when they see that you enjoy the journey.
I love that one guy hired someone at a concert, and I think it’s a great idea to look for the character and then find the right role. As for persistence and passion, that is definitely what is keeping me going right now. It’s not always easy. But I’m committed to seeing it through. Thanks for the tips!
Jack did that more than once … and they all turned out to be good hires. Keep up with the passion, and let that drive your persistence!
